DIRECTORS
Dan Towriss
Mr. Towriss serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company. He is an insurance veteran with more than 22 years of experience in the life insurance industry. Mr. Towriss is a graduate of Ball State University, is a credentialed actuary and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries as well as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Greg Ballard
The Honorable Greg Ballard served for two terms as Mayor of Indianapolis from 2008 to 2016. Prior to that time, Mayor Ballard served for 23 years in the United States Marine Corps; he received several awards as a member of the Marine Corps (including the Legion of Merit) and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is a visiting fellow at the University of Indianapolis.
Ryan Cloud
Mr. Cloud serves as General Counsel for Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company. Prior to this role, Mr. Cloud was an attorney at the New York and Chicago offices of Sidney Austin LLP.
Allison Duncan
Ms. Duncan retired from the Ladies Professional Golf Association tour in 2013 to start a family. Ms. Duncan spent six years on the LPGA Tour and ten total seasons as a professional golfer, and she also served on the LPGA Tour Board as a Player Director and on the USA Golf Board as a Player Representative.
Karen Maginn
Ms. Maginn is the Senior Vice President, Marketing at Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company where she is the architect in creating and communicating the brand, voice and marketing vision in order to increase brand awareness, loyalty and sales. She leads all sales, service and member marketing strategies to support the achievement of Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company’s growth objectives. Ms. Maginn has over 30 years in the financial services industry.
Sonja McClelland
Ms. McClelland is the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer at Hurco Companies, Inc. an international, industrial technology company that designs, manufactures and sells Computer Numerical Control machine tools. Ms. McClelland joined Hurco Companies, Inc. in 1996, and has held a series of accounting-related roles. Prior to that, she worked for an international public accounting firm. Ms. McClelland was named a 2015 Woman of Influence by Indianapolis Business Journal and is an Emeritus Board Member of Dress for Success Indianapolis.
Melissa Watson
Ms. Watson is the Director of Finance Special Projects at Republic Airways. Prior to this role, she served as Assistant Vice President of Corporate Planning at Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company as well as a Senior Corporate Financial Analyst at Hurco Companies, Inc. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
Susan Wilson
Ms. Wilson is the Director of Strategic Data at JD Byrider and is responsible for all strategic data analysis and software development in collections and payment acceptance. JD Byrider is a franchise organization that supports over 160 locations and has sold more than 1 million vehicles.

Elly Nettleton
Ms. Nettleton is a Senior Vice President of Accounting at Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company. Prior to this role, Ms. Nettleton was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
Andrea Walters
Ms. Walters is a Senior Investment Accountant in Investment Accounting at Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company. Prior to this role, she served as a Senior Financial Analyst in the private sector, as well as Senior Investment Accountant at CNO Financial Group, Inc. She has over 14 years in the financial services industry.
